Cheers is accessed by a lane off the main street giving it quite an unassuming entrance, however, once you walk the short distance to the main door you come across a licensed premises with a capacity of over 500 (deceiving in size – it’s a bit like Dr Who’s TARDIS!)

We have three sheltered smoking facilities with TV’s in our outside areas and both pool, table football and amusement games can be played outdoors. Children are welcome (till 11pm) and baby facilities are available.
We have excellent disabled access that includes a new ramp to the beer garden, which also has a large disabled toilet that can accommodate most large mobility vehicles.
The beer garden is located at the rear of the building. It has a capacity of over 300. The outside area is a DRAM 2011 award winning facility and seats over 200 people. Having recently been refurbished it boasts considerable facilities, one of which is an outside bar that serves draught beers and ciders plus a great range of spirits, wines and soft drinks. Large toilets are also located outside.
The Café Bar was renovated in April 2011 to a high standard. Televisions are located throughout the premises and all major sporting events are shown through Sky Sports and ESPN. The main bar is an excellent meeting place. It is bright and inviting. Meals are served 7 days a week and every effort is made to serve them speedily, especially at lunch times when time is at a premium. Our homemade food is sourced locally, tastes great and is priced to suit the tightest of budgets.
